Due to the fact that Hurricane Ida interrupted many of the regularly scheduled Masses throughout our local Archdiocese of New Orleans for the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time (August 29, 2021), be advised that in addition to our usual podcast posting of the current Vigil and Sunday Masses of the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we are reposting the podcast of the Liturgy of the Word for the 8am Mass of the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. This posting compliments the Archdiocese of New Orleans' special Year of the Eucharist in addition to the Universal Church's Year in Honor of St. Joseph. The homily of the 8am Mass of the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time focuses on the significance of the Eucharistic Prayer of the Holy Mass. That teaching homily was originally scheduled for the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time (August 29, 2021).
